Control Z season 2 is the one criminal drama we’re looking forward to the most. It’s not in Netflix’s list of June releases. It’s hard to imagine Control Z has been available on Netflix for almost a year. Control Z season 2 was quickly confirmed by Netflix after the first season wowed audiences.
The series debuted during the beginning of the pandemic and gained instant popularity. It’s a Mexican Spanish-language series about a bunch of high school students. When a hacker begins leaking everyone’s secrets, the students turn on one another in an attempt to discover out who the hacker is. With lives on the line, freedoms on the line, and much more, it undoubtedly ended horribly.
It’s not unexpected that the season didn’t make the June release list. The first season is set to premiere on May 20, 2020. It took a few weeks for the second season to be confirmed, and owing to the pandemic, filming couldn’t begin immediately once. Even under normal circumstances, we wouldn’t anticipate the release dates to be separated by 12 months. At the very least, the Netflix series takes 14 months between seasons. So July 2021 would be the target date. It is likely that the release date will be towards the beginning of 2022 at the earliest.
What about the supporting cast? The majority of the cast from season one should return, including Ana Valeria Becerril as Sofia. Samantha Acua as Natalia, Fiona Palomo as Maria, Andres Baida as Pablo, Patricio Gallardo as Gerry, Yankel Stevan as Raul, and Zión Moreno as Isabela are some of the expected casts.
Fans were also enthralled when they learned that one of the students (Luis Curiel) had passed away after a period of great inactivity, and they are wondering if he will return to haunt them. Fans have fallen in love with the idea and have been asking for a second season via social media.
Unfortunately, because a new season has not yet been approved, fans will have to wait a long time to see a trailer. Netflix will typically provide short teasers for new programs, so fans may be able to get a taste. As a result, another trailer will not be released until late 2021.
