The Flash Season 8: Will it feature Arrowverse Heroes?

The Flash Season 8 Updates:  Good news for all Flash fans has surfaced online: The 8th season of The Flash begins with five special event episodes starring heroes in the Arrowverse. On Tuesday, the network’s president and CEO, Mark Pedowitz, announced to Entertainment Weekly that Eric Wallace and executive producer Greg Berlanti were getting together and talking about other CW-verse superheroes who might appear on the show.

The Flash Season 8 Info

Pedowitz said it won’t be a crossover, but The Flash Season 8 is sure to have a crossover feel with the introduction of each character. The president declined to add which actors will be allowed to attend season eight of The Flash. The creators have a few sensations, but they cannot yet reveal the last one.

One of those feelings could likely concern Black Lightning’s fame, Cress Williams. The actor has just finished his fourth season of the current superhero show. In a recent interview, the star told the portal that the Flash show approached him twice for a superhero show. Williams said he was in the talks with the creators but he really enjoyed the show last year.

The Cross-over

For him in particular, he believes that he and Gustin Grant are like-minded in the way they approach work. The star went on to say that the duo had great conversations with each other in the past. During the same interaction, the actor also revealed one of his favorite scenes depicting his character. It was the scene between him and Grant in the Waverider library on “Crisis on Infinite Earths”.

The CW had to cancel its annual Arrowverse crossover this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, making it virtually impossible to write and schedule a multi-episode event that spanned multiple shows and featured multiple actors. The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET / PT on CW. Now, the news of the five episodes of special events has caused a stir among Arrowverse fans.
