The plot of The Upshaws Season 2
The Upshaws is an American sitcom about a middle-class African American family and how they get by their everyday life struggles. The show beautifully casts the character’s traits and expresses the African American society in a more elaborate way.
Bennie is the head of the family and lives with his wife Regina. Bennie also has a sister-in-law (Lucretia) who just waits for moments to point out bennie’s shortcomings to her sister i.e Regina.
Wanda Sykes and Regina Sykes are also the co-creators and co-showrunners of the show in addition to being the executive producer and star of the show.
The comedy has gained a decent fan following around the world with its top-notch sense of humor and comedy bits. The situations presented in the show are highly relatable even if one does not belong to the African-American community.
