The Bridgerton Season 2 Updates: Even if the production is in “top secret” mode for the shooting of season 2 of The Bridgerton Chronicle which will adapt the 2nd book of Julia Quinn’s saga, we can count on the paparazzi to give us a first glimpse of the sequel of the series, the release date of which has not yet been set by Netflix.
After the very first images of Jonathan Bailey (Anthony) and Simone Ashley (Kate), new photos were unveiled this Wednesday, May 26. It includes Penelope Featherington and Cressida Cowper.
To discover season 2 of The Bridgertons on Netflix, you will have to wait. Filming began several weeks ago, but the platform has not yet officially announced the start of production. However, we already know that the actors are at work for the sequel since the first photos which contained some hidden details were published at the beginning of the month of May. So if fans of the series need to be patient before getting an official preview of Anthony, Kate, and the others, the paparazzi are on the prowl.
The Bridgerton Season 2 Filming Continues In London

After the photos were taken at Royal Ascot, it is in London that the filming of season 2 of The Chronicle of the Bridgertons continues. This Tuesday, May 25, the actors were present at the Old Royal Naval College located in Greenwich in the British capital for the filming of several outdoor scenes.
While the paparazzi weren’t able to capture footage of Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton), Simone Ashley (Kate Sharma), or the other Bridgertons, we got a very first glimpse of Penelope Featherington ( Nicola Coughlan) as well as the confirmation of the return of Jessica Madsen as Cressida Cowper.
The images also show many extras in period clothing and fans on set were able to film some scenes (from afar). Photos which unfortunately do not tell us much about the scene in question.
Phoebe Dynevor also gave a preview of her return to the set of the series. The actress posted a photo story … before deleting it. She had noted ” s2 ” there, in reference to season 2 of The Chronicle of the Bridgertons. The actress had recently unveiled her new coloring which suggested an upcoming return on the set of The Bridgerton Season 2.
In season 2 of The Chronicle of the Bridgertons which will be done without Regé-Jean Page (Simon Basset), we will follow the love quest of Anthony who, at the end of season 1, decided to get married. Daphne’s brother will try to seduce Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran), the “diamond” of the season.
But this possible union will not be well seen by the older sister of the latter, Kate, who will do everything to prevent the viscount from asking for her sister’s hand.
