The Chicago Fire Season 8 ended up in an abrupt manner. COVID-19 has affected many shows and movies all over the world and Chicago Fire wasn’t unaffected by it. The filming had to be put on a stand by which caused the season to end at an abrupt end.

The promo for the 16th episode of season 9 was released which hinted at a probable exit of Chief Boden. Fans are now speculating about Chief Wallace Biden’s exit which surely is not good news. Earlier in the month of March, Monica Raymund who played the role of Gabriel bid her bye to the show.

Will Boden leave Firehouse 51 in Chicago Fire Season 9 Finale?

Chief Biden has been offered a promotion to the post of Deputy District Chief, which will take him away from the firehouse which leaves the Chief position vacant at the firehouse.

As Biden gets promoted, this doesn’t mean that we’ll be losing the character from the series. This probably means that Eamonn Walker is stepping down to recurring guest in place of series full-time. We’ll see him working at one of the top positions. Boden’s promotion will prove helpful for Firehouse 51 as it is the place from where many complications have come in the past.

Let’s wait and see that who will now fill up the position of Chief at Firehouse 51. Can it be Casey? But if Casey is made the Chief then, who’ll take the Lieutenant’s position?
