Lyra is a young orphan from an alternate world who stays with the scholars in a college in Oxford. While finding her missing friend, she discovers a secret that involves several kidnappings.

UPCOMING SEASON Release Date

His Dark Materials Season 3 will be the final season. BBC said that the production would start in Cardiff in 2021. The show’s creator Jack Thorne confirmed that the filming would begin in summer 2021. We cannot expect the third season to arrive until late 2021 or early 2022.

The third season is likely to start off from where the second season ended. Season two ended on a cliff-hanger as it saw Mrs. Coutler kidnap Lyra and travel away with her while keeping her asleep where she sees Rodger trapped somewhere in her dreams. James McAvoy is expected to have a much larger role in season three as Lord Asriel. No official release date has been announced yet. Also, there is no official trailer for the third season yet.
