Godzilla Singular Point Updates: After the global success of Godzilla vs Kong, fans are content to know that Gozilla Singular Point will be making it’s debut on Netflix this summer. The trailer for Netflix’s latest original anime was released on YouTube on April 13, 2021.
Godzilla Singular Point, which is an ongoing anime is going to make it’s debut on Netflix super soon. Netflix is bringing the anime to global audiences.
Netflix has confirmed a global official release date for the anime and it will be available for the global audiences on June 24, 2021. This news was officially confirmed by Netflix’s twitter handle – Netflix Geekend on May 18, 2021.
The series has been previously aired on Netflix Japan on March 25, 2021 and came on Japanese networks on April 1, 2021. The networks are : Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, BS11 and Sun TV. All the 13 episodes of the anime are scheduled to release on Netflix before their TV broadcast. First eight episodes have already been aired.
Studios Bones are co-producing Godzilla Singular Point with Studio Orange. Studio Bones is responsible for traditional hand-drawn animation and Studio Orange is in charge of 3DCG. The series is directed by Atsushi Takahashi and Toh Enjoe is writing and supervising the scripts.
Godzilla Singular Point Character Design
Original character designs are drafted by Kazue Katō and Eiji Yamamori is adapting Katō ‘s characters for Godzilla Singular Point. Ryuichi Ikeuchi, Yuushi Koshida and Masashi Suzuki are directing the visual effects.
Kan Sawada, who has earlier composed soundtracks for many Doraemon films and Yowamushi Pedal franchise will be writing Godzilla Singular Point’s score. Opening anime theme and ending theme will be performed by BiSH and Polkadot Stingray along with Sawada respectively.
The shows two young scientists – Mei Kamino, a graduate and Yuri Arikawa, an engineer who live in Nigashio City, Chiba Prefecture in the year 2030. They both are complete strangers and are brought together when they hear a mysterious song. They both then realize that they must work together to save the world when a danger rised from depths of Earth.
