Castlevania Season 4 Review: A Satisfying, Unpredictable Finale

Published by

Castlevania Season 4 Updates: Even though defeating Dracula is tough, his death in Castlevania assisted the stories of Carmilla, Isaac, Hector, and Death. In Castlevania, Dracula was portrayed as the real villain, but he was killed in Season 2.

Killing off such a famous villain at the halfway point seems dangerous. Dracula was a one-of-a-kind villain, but now he’s disappeared, figures like Carmilla and her sisters, as well as Death, have been able to bring new challenges to the mix.

Castlevania Season 2: What did Cramilla Plan?

Carmilla’s goal was not to wipe humanity off the face of the planet. Instead, she wanted to rule it, restricting humans to “pens” so that they could serve as a never-ending source of food. She also believed she had a claim to the cosmos as a result of mankind’s refusal to act.

Carmilla offered a new threat to the world, prolonging humanity’s misery indefinitely, and her reasons were more rational for the vampire race while remaining selfish, strengthening her as a dynamic villain.

Her sisters, on the other hand, showed a different side to vampires. They originally agreed with her plan, but as Carmilla’s expectations grew, so did their doubts.

Morana, Striga, and Lenore saw humans as animals, but it didn’t mean they had to control everyone. Morana felt awful about it, and she and Striga debated whether carrying out Carmilla’s proposition was really worth it because they were happier just being together.

Castlevania Season 4: How Death Proved to Surpass Dracula?

Even Dracula has converted to civilization thanks to Lisa before the main events of Castlevania. Although neither of the sisters developed human relationships in the same way as Dracula did with Lisa, they showed that vampires can feel empathy for mortals, albeit perverted empathy.

Death, a supposedly unkillable creature, was a terrifying tale that became reality in Castlevania. Death was the only one who could surpass Dracula’s villain job, while still proving that Trevor was much more brave and powerful than ever.

Dracula is a fantastic character in Castlevania, and there’s so much more that should have been done for him, but killing him off in Season 2 was a calculated gamble.

His impact on the universe and characters might be felt even if he was no longer living. Dracula’s reappearance at the end of the series was welcome. In a smaller and more calm position, he had already done his job as the big evil a few seasons back, and this had aided others in following in his footsteps or developing as characters.
