Could Below Deck Season 9 Charter Its Yacht In Australian Waters?

Published by

Below Deck Season 9 Updates: Season 9 of Below Deck could risk ending up in Australian waters. The latest season has sparked a flurry of speculation.

The information was first teased by an Australian entertainment blog. On Sunday, April 25, the news source hinted that the famous Bravo franchise might be heading “down under.”

It’s possible that the show will be filmed in the Whitsundays. The original series filmed “many seasons” with a US crew ever since inception. Now, it appears that filmmakers are on the lookout for more Australians, as they start making for excellent television.

The Bahamas, US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, Thailand, Tahiti, and the Mediterranean have all been prior locations for the TV series.

Is Below Deck Season 9 heading to Australia?

“Whispers television series filmed aboard boats will be trying to shoot in the Whitsundays,” according to TV Tonight. Bear in mind that this is just a rumour about a potential spinoff. On the other hand, it might be the upcoming film set for Season 9 of Below Deck.

The location boasts stunning scenery clear blue waters, breathtaking views, and A-list adventures. The Great Barrier Reef can be explored by visitors.

The official Australia tourist industry website says, “Be surrounded by Nemo and his colourful acquaintances as you start exploring the range of interesting coral while snorkelling or scuba diving the splendid Great Barrier Reef.”

“Day trips to the Great Barrier Reef for diving and snorkelling exit from Hamilton Island and Airlie Beach. Manta Ray Bay off Hook Island and Black Island (or Bali Hai) is two of the most famous and stunning travel destinations.”

Below Deck audiences may experience FOMO as a result of this guide book. Having to travel during the coronavirus disease outbreak is currently discouraged.

Though with the current vaccine rollout, flying there can be difficult. Audiences can, however, enable the Bravo network to transport them to this ideal vacation spot.

There should be enough room for beach adventures and picnic lunches. There are also white sand islands and great landscapes in this area. Mostly on northern end of the island, Hayman Island gives access to Whitehaven Beach and the external reef. It is only accessible by chopper, private jet, or yacht, making it an ideal location for the show.

Other spinoffs are in the works as well.

Below Deck, which is focused in Australia, appears to be a spinoff. The show was listed as part of the franchise’s line – up. Norway could also be the setting for a spinoff show. According to Deadline, the television network wants to keep expanding the Below Deck universe with more prime areas.

The original show, as well as its two spinoffs, Below Deck Mediterranean and Below Deck Sailing Yacht, is presently part of the franchise. Mostly during charter season, the show focuses on the lives of crew and passengers who live and work on a super yacht. Below Deck spinoffs could air on Bravo or on the Peacock streaming service in the coming years.
