Marvel’s MODOK Hulu Release Date, Cast and Plot Details

MODOK Updates: Created by Jordan Blum (known for Community and American Dad!) and Patton Oswalt (known for The King of Queens), Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. is an American animated stop motion series.

MODOK, short for Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing, is based on the Marvel Comics character by the same name. Played by Patton Oswalt, the character is a megalomaniac super villain who dreams of conquering the whole world. Following his failed attempts in defeating the mightiest heroes on Earth spanning several years, he was ousted as A.I.M.’s leader, an evil organization that supported his plans. Dealing with a failing marriage and crumbling family life, he is set to face his greatest challenge in the upcoming series.

MODOK Hulu Release Date

The show was officially announced in February 2019 and the cast next year in January 2020, with writing and recording completing a while later.

The series is scheduled to premiere on Hulu on the 21st of May this year. It will have a total of ten episodes will all of the dropping together on the release date. The Series will be available to watch on Hulu, So if you have not taken the Subscription you take that.

Produced by Marvel Studios, the series stars Aimee Garcia, Ben Schwartz, Melissa Fumero, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Beck Bennett, Jon Daly, and Sam Richardson along with Oswalt.

Executive producers of the show include Brett Crawley, Robert Maitia, Grant Gish, Joe Quesada, Karim Zreik and Jeph Loeb.

Stop motion animation is provided by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios.

The trailer for the series was released almost three weeks ago and features M.O.D.O.K. wreaking havoc on Earth, while also featuring a comedic side of the show.

The official synopsis for the show reads as: “An egomaniacal super villain struggles to maintain control of his evil organization after it is bought by a multinational tech company, all while juggling the needs of his demanding family.”
