You Season 3 Release Date – Is it coming out this very year?

You Season 3 Updates: “You” could easily be the best American psychological television series present on Netflix. It currently has two seasons there eight-ten episodes each. It is based on a book written by Caroline Kepnes. The series initially premiered on “Lifeline” on September 9, 2018, in the US and globally on Netflix on December 26, 2018.

The story of about a psychopath character Joe Gildberg who falls in love and follows it around obsessively murdering anyone who he thinks would come between them. He moved to another city for a fresh start in the second season but falls into a similar pattern of love and violence as he falls in love again.

You Season 3 Release Date

The second season was released exclusively on Netflix on December 26, 2019. In January 2020, the series was renewed for a third season by Netflix, which is set to be released in the fourth quarter of 2021.
With all the suspense the show builds up has left stars wanting more making season three of the show a very anticipated title of this year. The filming for the third season had started early last year but was put on hold in November 2020 because of the grave pandemic situations. The third will also most definitely have ten episodes but there is not much information available as of yet about the show.

There has been no announcement about any other seasons as the third season is also based on the third book by Kepnes that she published last year itself.

The season 3 shooting was wrapped up in April 2021 and Netflix has announced that it would be released anytime between October to December this very year. The first two seasons premiered in December as well so it would be no surprise if Netflix makes us wait till the very end of the year before releasing the show.
