Chicago Med Season 7 Updates: The medical series is the newest among the One Chicago series but at the same time it leads NBC’s entire Chicago theme on Wednesday. It shows doctors and nurses working at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center.

It can be estimated that the show will return for Season 7 by the Fall of 2021. There’s one bad news though that the characters of April and Natalie will be seen exiting the show. Actresses Yaya DaCosta and Torrey DeVitto have not signed up for the seventh season of the show due to other projects on their hands. Their contract has come to an end. DaCosta will be seen starring in – Our Kind of People and DeVitto has joined the cast of the film – Skelly.
DaCosta and DeVitto were a part of the show’s original cast, playing the roles of ER nurse April Sexton and emergency pediatrics specialist Dr. Natalie Manning respectively. There are a few episodes left in season 6 and at this moment it’s not clear about their character’s appearance in those episodes. DeVitto announced her departure from the show on Instagram.
