Call of Duty: Warzone Has Banned Half a Million Players for Cheating

Call of Duty: Warzone Updates: COD: Warzone developer Raven Software stated that a total number of players banned for cheating has gone past 500,000.

With the new wave of malicious accounts getting the bans, Call of Duty : Warzone developer Raven Software confirmed that the total number of the players banned from the fan favourite free – to – play battle royale title for cheating has surpassed 500,000.

“ Banned over 30,00 malicious accounts across Call of Duty yesterday…bringing us to over half a million accounts banned in the ( Warzone)”, Raven wrote on Twitter, is amongst the top rated battle royale titles out there but the game has had their fair share of malicious accounts which does hinder gaming experience.

Developed by Infinity Ward and Raven, Call of Duty : launched back in March of 2020 as a part of Call of Duty : Modern Warfare, Content from the infamous COD : Black Ops Cold War was later added and integrated into Warzone as well, with Raven being credited as the battle royale game’s sole developer from there onwards.

As per Kotaku, has a long cheating problem, with both Raven and COD publisher taking steps to curb down the malicious activity within the game.

For the fact, back in February of this year Activision banned over a 60,000 malicious accounts from Warzone, with the publisher coming out to claim that the total number of players banned for cheating was somewhere around 300,000 at the time.

Being a free-to-play platform has been targeted by cheaters and over periods of time them resulting in permanent bans by the developer Raven.

Call of Duty : developed by Raven Software and published by Activision is now available gaming platforms such as Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 5, Xbox series X/S and Microsoft Windows.
