When does ‘Demon Slayer’ Season 2 is coming out soon in Netflix?

‘Demon Slayer’ Season 2 Updates: “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba” is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. It follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who wants to become a demon slayer after his family is slaughtered and his younger sister Nezuko is turned into a demon. The manga was later adapted into an anime and gained huge popularity for its story and animation quality. The fan base of the show is also heavily increasing. In just over five years since the release of the manga in February 2016, the franchise has grossed over $2.6 billion in Japan only.

When is Demon Slayer Season 2  coming to Netflix?

For Netflix users, there is bad news as they’ll have to wait for another year for season 2 to be released over the online platform.

The second season of the show is scheduled to be premiered on Crunchyroll in the summer of 2021. Now, if the second season is to have the same number of episodes as the first; a total of 26 episodes, then season 2 can be expected to come to an end by November 2021. The first season too was broadcasted on Crunchyroll and came to Netflix only 16 months later. Thus, if the second season follows the same pattern then we’ll be seeing Demon Slayer season 2 on Netflix by March 2023.

What to Expect from Season 2?

The second season won’t be beginning right from where the first season ended. It will be starting off with the scene after the Mugen train arc. The second season will see Tanjiro and his friends going to Yoshiwara, an infamous red-light district in Edo, where all kinds of crimes and shady activities are running in the open with no authority to control them.

When will the Demon Slayer movie come?

The franchise didn’t continue the story of season 1 in its next season instead it chose to continue it over a movie. The Mugen train arc was adapted into a full-length movie by the franchise which came out to be a great hit. The movie broke quite many records during it’s runtime in the theaters;
