Unforgotten Season 5: How will Sunny deal with Cassie’s death?

Unforgotten Season 5 Updates: Unforgotten season four ended with the death of DCI Cassie Stewart which had fans all shocked as well as the character’s family and friends as no one saw it coming.

Her colleague and best friend Sunny Khan was stunned and speechless when he was brought the news. The show must go on and this but now no one is on Sunny side.

Cassie and Sunny were in the middle of a investigation of a cold case murder while in mid she was met with a gruesome accident.

Initially, it was believed Cassie would make recovery but as moving to an end, the injuries were far more serious as she had suffered extensive brain injuries and would never wake again. Sunny was seen grieving over her friend’s death and was very emotional as he dropped off flowers by his grave.

Sunny could be feeling isolated after losing Cassie. Losing a loved one, partner, family member or friend, is always difficult to process, and can lead to loneliness.

Although this is not something easy as the shock of loss was sudden in particular, and a sudden death does not allow person to have time to prepare for the loss.

Other actresses who could be up for the role are Kelly MacDonald from Line of Duty’s and Sarah Lancashire from Happy Valley.

Unforgotten is going to need some stellar member to fill in for following actress Walker.
