Money Heist Season 5 Updates: Netflix has just announced the release date for season 5 on their website. If you’re waiting to see the new season this year, this is excellent news. If you want to watch the new season tomorrow, this is bad news. Money Heist is now one of the most popular Netflix shows on the planet. Since the Netflix original series debuted on the streaming channel in 2017, it’s been that way. But it’s been a bit after we’ve seen new episodes of Money Heist, and now fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Money Heist season 5 on Netflix.
Season 5 is almost available for Streaming. Money Heist was extended for a fifth season by the streaming network in July 2020. Season 5 will, inevitably, be the last season of the hit Netflix original series. For certain fans, it would be a bitter pill to take.
Money Heist has had eight episodes in each season so far. This isn’t the case in season 5. It will have ten episodes, two more than the previous season. That would be great news for viewers of the show. There have been some internet reports that the final season may have more than 10 episodes, but we haven’t been able to verify any of them. Netflix’s media center already reports 10 episodes, so those claims are most likely false.
The show will begin filming in the summer of 2020. We don’t have a specific start date for shooting, but it began shortly after the fifth season was revealed. At the very least, that’s when we began seeing posts from Alex Pina, the cast, and the crew on social media. As of spring 2021, Money Heist Season 5 seemed to be in the works. If the season doesn’t end production fast, the release date may be pushed back.

According to a source from Express, Money Heist season 5 will be released sometime after September 2021. At least, that’s what Pina recently said. However, it makes sense. Small Screen later announced that a source told them that season 5 is shooting for a September Netflix release date. Season 5 is expected to premiere in October, November, or December, according to our best guess. I believe the new season will premiere in October since Netflix has a jam-packed schedule for November and December, and the streaming service will choose to offer Money Heist its own window to shine. At the end of the year, there should be ample time to complete post-production on season 5.
