ASUS ZenFone 8 Updates: One of the World’s Most Admired Company ASUS is all set to launch its ZenFone 8 series on 12th May 2021. ASUS is going to set in motion three phones under the ZenFone 8 series namely- ASUS ZenFone 8, ASUS ZenFone 8 Pro, ASUS ZenFone 8 Mini. This series will be succeeding the Zenfone 7 series smartphone which was launched in the year 2020.
However, due to the pandemic crisis, the company will not be launching the products in India. In addition to the revelation of prices, we will get to know about the phone’s features, storage, and specifications. This global launch event will take place virtually today.
ZenFone 8 Prices
According to tipster Sudhanshu, the phone’s price is expected to start from EUR 700 i.e., INR 62,500. As compared to this, ZenFone 7 6.67 inches weighing around 230 grams started at a price of TWD 21,900 i.e., Rs. 55,000 approximately for 6GB+128GB variant, while storage variant 8GB+128GB was priced at TWD 23,900 i.e., Rs. 62, 750 approx. The ZenFone 8 series comes in three Model variants.
- ZenFone 8 (8GB+128GB) – EUR 700 i.e., Rs. 62,500 approx.
- ZenFone 8 (8GB+256GB) – EUR 750 i.e., Rs. 66,800 approx.
- ZenFone 8 (16GB+256GB) – EUR 800 i.e., Rs. 71,300 approx.
Specifications of ZenFone 8
ZenFone 8 will feature a 5.9″(1080 x 2400 pixels) weighing around 170 grams. It has a network technology of GSM/HSPA/LTE/5G. The phone comes with a Dual Sim and a Super AMOLED display. It has a dedicated slot for MicroSD and 8GB RAM Snapdragon 885 5G.
Talking about the battery life of the model the phone is coming with a pack of 4000 mAH Li-Po with support of fast charging 30W and reverse charging. The phone has three rear cameras coming in a variety of 63- megapixel (wide), 12- megapixel (wide-angle sensor and macro lens) and, 12-megapixel selfie camera.
The camera features Dual- LED Flash, HDR, Panorama. ASUS ZenFone 8 is expected to run on Android 11-based ZenUI. The operating system (OS) will work on an Octa-Core processor Snapdragon 888 5G. The model has a Loudspeaker of 3.5mm jack which comes with stereo speakers. ASUS Zenfone 8 series features sensors like fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, compass.
As far as Phone’s Flip is concerned which is anticipated to be launched in addition to the above models. This will feature a 6.67″ with FHD+AMOLED display. ZenFone 8 Flip will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
However, the prices of ZenFone 8 Pro and Mini have not been announced yet. The company is definitely going to reveal the prices very soon after its global launch on 12th May 2021.
