If this turns out to be true, it would be a moment of utter joy for all the PUBG MOBILE’s fans out there to see their favorite game come back.

When is it getting launched?

Though there is still no official statement by the brand regarding any such launch, PUBG Mobile Caster and Influencer, Ocean Sharma, while in conversation with Daily Research Plot, didn’t deny the fact that it might be here anytime.

Instead, he was quite sure that PUBG could be launched in June in India. Not only that, he also disclosed that the trailer of the high-demanded title would be out by May 31.

“As I previously stated, there will be two major announcements in May, one of which has been made today. Also, if this was just a teaser, the trailer could arrive by the end of the month if everything goes according to plan. Because this was only a baby step, the game could be available in June”, Daily Research Plot quoted Sharma as saying this.

For those who don’t know, last year in 2019, the Modi Government banned 118 Chinese apps due to data security reasons, and PUBG MOBILE was one of those. Before the ban, it had grown a humongous fanbase in India, with over 32 million nationwide users.

Due to the Chinese data security issue, Krafton Inc., which is a South-Korean brand, has now took the job of bringing it back to India. It has also informed that the new name of the game in India would be Battlegrounds Mobile India.

Fans and streamers were taken aback by the fact that it had been banned. The arrival of the game would make them delighted, especially in these tough times.

PUBG Mobile: Measures taken to prevent the issues faced earlier

Krafton Inc. has stated that there would be many “India-specific” features incorporated in the game. It would also have many types of outfits and features with tournament and leagues.

To cope up with the health and other issues that people faced in India, the company has brought out a new privacy policy, which checks upon many criteria. Gamers under the age of 18 would now, need parental consent, and still then, they would not be allowed to play the game for more than 3 hours a day.

Additionally, these under-aged users would not be allowed to spend more than Rs. 7,000 on the in-app purchases. This could prove effective against the issues faced previously.

While a lot of speculation is going around regarding the launch date, Twitterati has guessed that it would launch on June 10. So are you excited? Let us know through the comments below.
