Pennyworth is an American crime drama action spy thriller television series based on the characters of DC Comics. The show premiered on 28th July 2019 on Epix. It is a Batman prequel series. The show follows the early life of Alfred Pennyworth, the titular Wayne family butler, a former British SAS soldier in the 1960s who is trying to set his own security company in an alternate universe London.
The Raven Society, a group conspiring to take over the British government, targets Alfred who then begins to work against them alongside the American agents of the No Name League – Thomas Wayne and Martha Kane, the future parents of Bruce Wayne. The series has got a small but solid fan base.

UPCOMING SEASON Details
There is no news regarding Pennyworth season 3 yet. However, it is likely that the show would be moving to HBO Max for its upcoming season. Warner Bros. TV is presently is negotiating a deal to stream season 1 and season 2 on HBO Max. Also, this deal would grant Epix the advantage to rerun season 3 if it is made.
It is not at all a surprise that HBO Max is trying to snag the series since it is home to most DC-related content, trying to make sure that it is the only home for anything related to the DCEU franchise. But there is no certainty that such would be the case. It will be sad if the show is canceled as the show is doing pretty well in terms of its storyline and it will be really exciting to see what next could be possible.
