Haikyuu Season 5 Updates: “Haikyuu!!,” with its excellent animated and volleyball matches, is a well-loved sports anime that first premiered in 2014. It is one of the most huge Japanese manga series created by Haruichi Furudate. It tells the story of a middle school student named Hinata Shouyou. He becomes obsessed with volleyball after watching the National championship on TV.
The first run of the show was made between April and September 2014. The second season aired from October 2015 to March 2016. Both had 25 episodes each. Unlike the first two, the third installment had only 10 episodes and it aired between October to December 2016. The fourth iteration was released in two parts in 2020. After the fourth season, millions of fans started looking forward to Haikyuu Season 5. They desperately want to know the launch date and the number of episodes it will have in it. The first 3 seasons were released from 2014 to 2016. There, there a huge gap between the fourth and third seasons. The fourth seasons’ release wasn’t made official until late 2018, per Crunchyroll. Season 4 finished in December 2020 and since then there’s no word yet on whether a Season 5 is coming out of Production I.G. However, the Twitter account put a message thanking the ”anime team” for their hard work, and including, “awaiting the continuation!” in December only. This implies that there will be a season 5 at some point. It’s hard to predict when that will happen.
Towards the end of Season 4, Karasuno High shockingly won against the much-powerful Inarizaki. The players now wish to enjoy a much-deserved rest but Hinata declares he can’t still play another match but players retire to face the Nekoma High team the next day. Following the manga series, we’re expecting the story to continue from chapter 293 in Haikyuu Season 5, with the main plot focusing on the match between Karasuno and Nekoma.
