Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 Updates: Arthdal Chronicles is a South Korean television series that premiered in 2019. It is regarded as the first Korean ancient fantasy drama written by Kim Young-Hyun and Park Sang-Yeon and directed by Kim Won-Seok under the production of Studio Dragon and KPJ. It premiered internationally on Netflix. The story takes place in a mythical land called Arth during the Bronze Age where the inhabitants of the ancient city of Arthdal deal with power struggles and love.

Eun-seom has to face hardships to bring his tribe back to life and learns of his true origins in the process. The series was the sixth most preferred Korean drama in the US and entered the list of highest-rated Korean dramas in cable television. The show received mixed reviews from critics. The show has received positive reviews for its storyline and unique setting with emotional elements like the meaning of tribe, patriotism, and religion.

There have been comparisons of the show with Game of Thrones, however, writer Park Sang-Yeon said that he would not think of comparing the show and it is not their target to create something similar. He also said that he would also like the viewers to not draw any comparisons and watch the show as it is. The show has a huge fan base all over the world. The show gives visual pleasure because of its amazing camera work.

Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 Details

Arthdal Chronicles has been renewed for season 2 on 2nd February 2020. However, the show has not started filming due to the pandemic. Therefore no official release date has been stated yet. The main cast will be returning in the new season. No further updates are available regarding the second season. Until then fans have to wait for their favorite show a little more before they can enjoy more K-drama.

The show does not disappoint its viewers. It is absolutely amazing to watch ancient action and drama along with some romance. All the elements of the show blend together smoothly to give it a great finish. The cast is fabulous, bringing all the characters alive really well. If one has not watched the show yet one needs to watch it before the release of the Arthdal Chronicles Season 2.
