Lately, Netflix has been dropping many new tv series this year, 2021. Guess what, what’s next? Mike Epps and Wanda Skyes are teaming up for an all-new sitcom called “The Upshaws”. Netflix just dropped Upshaw’s trailer and it’s a mix of Family Reunion and Fuller House.

What’s Upshaws about?
What we see from the trailer, the plot revolves around a black family in Indiana who is trying their best to meet their ends. Life is tough and expensive, so together they hustle hard. They try to balance being a baby mama, attend job interviews, and helicopter parents.

In the clip, we can see the humor the show is carrying. Epps says in the clip that “I gotta be there for my kids,” “My dad was no good, so it made me do some messed up stuff back in the day.” To which Sykes barges in and makes a statement “Back in the day? You did some ignorant stuff this morning.” To which Epps responds, “Where did you come from? No one said your name three times.”
Similar to other sitcoms, Upshawa’s will be filled with typical humor and comedy. The show is created by Wanda Sykes and Regina Hicks. The co-actors are also the executive producers of the show with Mike Epps, Page Hurwitz, and Niles Kirchner.
