Stranger Things Season 4: When doe0s Season 4 of the Netflix series start?

Published by

Stranger Things season 4 should start this year on the streaming service Netflix. You can find all spoilers and information about the plot and cast here! With the mystery drama ” Stranger Things “, the streaming service Netflix celebrated a great success. Viewers are enthusiastic and so “Stranger Things” season 4 is already being tinkered with so that new episodes will start this year.

Stranger Things: Season 4 start date

Originally, fans hoped for a start of “Stranger Things” season 4 in the Christmas season 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic thwarted these hopes. In the meantime, filming has been resumed and a start date for the fourth season will take place in the course of 2021. Officially, Netflix has not yet announced when “Stranger Things” Season 4 will start.

Stranger Things: Season 4 plot

On the one hand, of course, there is the question of whether Elfie has lost her skills forever. At least in the finale, we see that even after several months she is still not able to control objects with her mind again. This new situation will certainly be discussed in season 4, but we strongly suspect that Elfie will get her strength back in the second half of season 4 at the latest.

It also remains to be seen whether the Byers (+ Elfie) family will turn their backs on Hawkins permanently. Hawkins is probably the focal point more often in season 4, so the Byers’ new home should play an important role.

Dustin actor Gaten Matarazzo revealed in an interview that the new season will be darker.

Also, the advancing age of the leading actors let creators Matt and Ross Duffer infuse the series: “When it comes to the tone of the season, I think it’s definitely matured, and I think they do it on purpose because they want to that their show matures with their children. ”

Stranger Things 4: The Hellfire Club

The title of the first episode of “Stranger Things” season 4 was announced through tweets. “The Hellfire Club” is the name of the episode and was promoted by the stars on social media, so many fans wondered: What is the “Hellfire Club”?

It turns out the Hellfire Club is a D&D community on Hawkins High. D&D, also known as “Dungeons & Dragons”, is a classic pen & paper role-playing game, which Dustin, Will, and Co. played in season 1.

A new Instagram post from Hopper cast member David Harbor takes the roleplay up further by sharing a screenshot of an online conference. During this conference, Harbor, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, and Natalia Dyer appear to be playing that same game. It’s thought to be a promo gag.

Stranger Things Season 4: Hopper in Russia

In addition, it takes us even further afield: to Russia! Already in the credits of season 3, we saw that the Russians hold a Demogorgon in a secret facility and feed it, prisoners. Now we know that one of these prisoners is Hopper himself.

In a conversation with Deadline, the Duffer brothers and David Harbor gave first insights into the plot and style of the next season.

According to them, each season is conceived as a separate film with a new focus. That’s why the story focused on a special setting in the third season, namely the new mall in the small town of Hawkins.

This realization would suggest that Hawkins will hardly serve as a plot in the new season and that the cast will experience more of an adventure trip. David Harbor is aptly referring to “Indiana Jones”. So maybe an adventurous rescue operation or a tricky search for clues through foreign countries awaits us.

As before in every season, the series makers also announce in the conversation that Stranger Things would get bigger and “more” with the fourth season. Such cryptic.

Descriptions sometimes suggest the CGI effects used, but often simply refer to the fact that the danger will become even greater and more existential in a new season.
