It premiered in Canada on January 5, 2014.

The show mostly follows the two Lagina brothers – Marty and Rick. The series discusses the history of the island, recent discoveries, theories, and earlier investigations of the site.

The show is the most popular show on the History network but still not everything has gone their way and they have received a mixed reaction to it. Some people enjoy the unearthing of the simple mysteries of the island but some people feel that over the 7 seasons, the show has become repetitive and tiring to watch over and over again as they don’t discover anything significant even after years of digging.
