While we are waiting excitedly, David Fincher, in an interview told the press that the making of the show was too exhausting for him. He reported that it took 90 hours every week and the budget of the film was also way too high.

Nevertheless, we have started hearing rumours about the third season of the show as a quote was shared by a site called, “Small Screen” reporting that Fincher and Netflix are currently in a discourse to discuss the possibility of bringing back the show.

We do not know if this is true or not but if it is, we will have to endure a long wait before getting anything on screen as Fincher is currently working on two projects – Lange and Chinatown; which would have to be completed before he starts shooting for Mindhunter.

Well, I am already wondering about the serial killer cases they would take up in the new season.

Stay tuned for more updates.
