FBI special agents are Holden Ford, Bill Hench as they have been ruiing the unit since 1970’s. Netflix original Mindhunter ran for 2 seasons before it took an indefinite break. We’ve heard that the third Season is coming up and here’s what we should know. The question, can we expect to see Jonathan Groff in the role of FBI agent Holden Ford?

The show came on Netflix in October 2017 and gained itself a wide fanbase. Currently, there are two seasons of the show, the second season came in 2019. Last year the fans were disheartened when its director announced the possibility that we would never see another season of the show.
The two seasons plot revolved around two FBI agents interviewing a wide range of American killers and the show was then critically acclaimed.
It was revealed recently that David Fincher had become exhausted by the show and wanted to explore his options.
Is there Going to be Mindhunter Season 3?
On January 15th, 2020, TVline was informed that the cast and crew of Mindhunter have been released out of their contracts until further notice. The show is technically not cancelled but its indefinitely on hold.
The discussions are going on between the producer and Netflix. Currently, the Mindhunter team is not working on the project. Well, there will be updates as soon as we get any confirmation.
Currently, there are two Fincher’s projects; Lange and Chinatown. Mindhunter season three has been not announced. We can only expect it to come this year later.
