Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 Updates: Lucifer is an American urban fantasy television series based on the DC comic character, taken from the comic The Sandman. The series is developed by Tom Kapinos and was premiered on Fox on January 25, 2016.

The production of the series is managed by Jerry Bruckheimer Television, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television. It has released 5 seasons until now containing a total of 75 episodes each running for 42-62 minutes.

Originally it was under Fox network from 2016 to 2018. But in 2019,Netflix bought the rights of the series.

The series revolves around the devil who leaves hell and settles in Los Angeles and opens a night club. He also becomes a consultant of the LAPD. He helps the police in solving various criminal cases and slowly falls for the detective Chloe Decker.

How many Seasons of the show have been released until now? 

The show has had 5 seasons until now. The fifth season has been released in parts where the second part is still not out. The first season was released on January 25,2016. Since then there has been nothing stopping them.

The show has gained a lot of fame and viewers. This encouraged the producers to keep the show going on. Recently, the trailer of the 2nd part of Season 5 has been released.

The trailer of the second part of the fifth season of the show is already out on Netflix and on various platforms. We already see many glimpses of the show in the trailer which indicates that this part might be quite shocking for all of us.

The God has arrived on Earth to meet his children and is even having dinner with them. God undermines Lucifer’s work with LAPD and instead praises detective Espinoza and Chloe Decker tells God respectfully that he’s a “terrible father”.

The next scene shows the Devil and the God with Linda in a therapy session trying to improve their relationship. God also announces his retirement while Lucifer plans to become the God himself after his father.

While, he’s not the only one wishing to be the next God. Lucifer’s twin brother, Michael also has the same intention and is seen gathering a force to fight Lucifer. Hence a harsh battle will be fought among the celestial beings.

When will the Season 5 Part 2 be released?

With a large portion of viewers waiting for the show in anticipation to be released the producers have recently announced the release date to be May 28,2021.
