Pennyworth Season 3: May to HBO Max, Release Date, Cast and Plot

Pennyworth Season 3 Updates:  The action-drama show “Pennyworth” follows the adventure of Batman’s butler in his younger age as an ex-soldier turned security expert, could be moving from Epix to HBO Max. The Show has 7.9 Rating on IMDb.

Pennyworth is an American crime drama, created by Gotham’s executive producer Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon and composed by Gotham’s composer David E. Russo. Basically, this series focuses on a young kid Pennyworth and Thomas Wayne around twenty years before the time period of Gotham, going down in an exceedingly gritty London throughout the 60s. The series was ordered for the 1st season of 10 episodes, which began filming in Oct 2018 and was expected to air on Epix, July 28, 2019, before being released a week ahead of time July 21, 2019. A second season was confirmed in Oct 2019 and started filming in January 2020.

In this show, Jack Bannon plays the role of Alfred pennyworth, an ex-soldier for the British Army’s SAS (Special Air Service) corps and proprietor of a security company in an alternative universe. When he was living in London, his security ventures bring him into contact with American doctor Thomas Wayne, as known as the father of Batman.

Pennyworth Season 3: Details

Pennyworth premiered on Epix in 2019 before the May 2020 launch of HBO Max, which has become the place for many existing and next upcoming shows based on DC Comics, like DC’s Titans and also the adult-oriented animated series Harley Quinn, journeyed to HBO Max from the DC Universe streaming service. Warner Bros. TV, which made the Batman-inspired series, is presently negotiating a deal that may enable Pennyworth’s 1st and 2nd seasons to stream on HBO Max. Also, the deal would grant Epix rerun access for 3rd season, if the next upcoming season of the show is greenlit. So, for now, a Season three for Pennyworth is undecided.

HBO Max’s next DC Extended Universe projects contain a Green Lantern series, a Peacemaker spinoff series navigated by The Suicide Squad’s James Gunn, and a spinoff series encouraged by the upcoming film The Batman which focuses on Gotham City’s police department.
