Enola Holmes

Enola Holmes 2 Updates: Enola Holmes, starring Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill, became the 9th most watched Netflix original show. It stayed on top of the charts across many countries after being released on 23rd September 2020.

There are very limited news or updates about the sequel of the show but we do know for sure that there is going to be a second part and also the auditions for new characters started in February 2021. We don’t know any of the members of the new cast but from the old cast, Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill are sure to return.

There has not been any official announcement about the second season but the show is based on books and gained immense popularity; so it’s bound to come back to cover the rest of the books. Millie Bobby Brown herself said in an interview that she would love to come back as there so much story left to tell in Enola and she has not yet received a definitive end.

When the news about the show’s production had circling around, Netflix got into a conflict with the Arthur Conan Doyle Estate, who tried to pull the release date due to copyright infringement issues. The concerns were outrightly ruled out in December 2020.

Considering that the auditions are going on right now, we might have to wait a little while to get the second season of the show. Now the show Enola Holmes is based on the books written by Nancy springer and the first season of the show was based on her book, “The case of the Missing Marquess”.

There are other books for the follow up of the show like “The case of the left handed lady” and “The case of the bizarre bouquets”. In the Case of the Left-Handed Lady, Enola seeks to find Lady Cecily Allistair whereas the other book sees Enola teaming up with Sherlock to find the missing Dr. John Watson. It would be fun to see Dr Watson on this show as well but for now,

Stay tuned for more updates.
