Army of the Dead Trailer: Smart Zombies Are a Nightmare

Army of the Dead Updates: Zack Snyder’s zombie heist film Army of the Dead is going to hit Netflix on May 21, and it’s set to feature a large range of zombies, from a zombie tiger to Elvis. Army of the Dead will feature a large variety of different types of zombies, including some unusually intelligent ones the “Alpha”.

The movie is the Snyder’s first film with Netflix, and can even be his return to the zombie genre after his very first film as director, 2004’s Dawn of the Dead.

In Army of The Dead, describes what happened in the aftermath of a zombie epidemic that ruined Las Vegas and separated it by walls from the rest of the world. Scott Ward (Dave Bautista), a former zombie-war hero who had to leave Las Vegas where he was born and raised and works at a burger shop outside of a town he now sees as his home, receives an incredible offer from casino boss Bly Tanaka (Hiroyuki Sanada): The city is 32 hours far and they will enter the zombie-infested quarantine zone before being destroyed by the government with nuclear weapons, seizing $ 200 million in an underground safe.

With little to lose, Ward accepts this difficult task and assembles an expert team of rabble for the robbery. As time is getting shorter, there is a so-called impossible-to-open vault, and the swarm of Alpha zombies, both smarter and faster, getting closer and closer, one thing is certain in this biggest heist ever attempted: Those who survive will take everything.
