Since its premiere in September of 2016, the show has been opening CBS’ Friday lineup at 8 PM.

Kelly Kahl, the president of CBS Entertainment recently came out to thank the whole cast and crew of the show for their dedication and hard work throughout the years. MacGyver Season 6 Production Status

“Red Cell + Quantum + Cold + Committed” Department of Defense General John Acosta (Xander Berkeley) recruits MacGyver to steal a highly classified project from a military lab in order to find flaws in its security. But when it’s discovered that the general is planning an attack using the weapon, Phoenix must stop Acosta before the weapon is uploaded, on MACGYVER, Friday, Feb. 14 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. However, fans are a little disappointed as the original co-lead George Eads, who left the show in season 3 and eventually had to be killed off, would not be returning for the finale. The show would end with its current cast including Lucas Till, Tristin Mays, Justin Hires, Meredith Eaton, Levy Tran, and Henry Ian Cusick.
