Bunny Girl Senpai Season 2 Updates: Hajme Kamoshida authored the Japanese romantic novel series – Rascal Does Not Dream Of A Bunny Girl Senpai. The first episode of the series was aired on 4 October 2018 and ended on 27 December 2018 on ABC and other channels. It is directed by Soichi Masui. There were 13 episodes in season 1. After it a movie Rascal Does Not Dream Of A Dreaming Girl came in 2019 where the fans were able to see a glimpse of the characters from Rascal Does Not Dream Of Bunny Girl Senpai. The movie came on 15 June 2019. The series is based on a light novel that even has a manga adaptation.

The plot of season 1 revolved around Sakuta Azusagawa and Mai Sakurajima’s life. Sakuta sees Mai dressed as a bunny and roaming in the library. Nobody except herself can see Mai. They both then try to solve the mystery around this incident.

Bunny Girl Senpai Season 2: Release Date

As per Republic World, It has been more than two years since season 1 had aired. There have been no talks with the team regarding its renewal date and time. The fans are waiting for another season to come out. However, it is common for animes to get their renewal after a year or two because till then the novel progresses a bit. And the production studios announce anime just before its arrival. So, the anime series should get a renewal soon.

If the makers are planning to renew the series then we should expect it to come somewhere between 2021 and 2022. But once again, we would like to remind you that till now there has been no official announcement about it. The creators of the series have neither renewed it nor canceled it. The fate of the series is still in doubt.

Bunny Girl Senpai Season 2 Characters

As of now, it does not confirm whether season 2 is on the cards or not. It is also speculated that Sakuta Azusagawa might not be seen in season 2. Other than her the characters would remain the same. Season 2 is still short of two volumes so, we can’t say anything sure about the plot.

Season 1 of the anime consisted of the first volume of the light novel series. The movie, Rascal Does Not Dream Of A Dancing Girl covered the 6th and 7th volume. Recently the 10th volume of the series also came out on 7 February 2020. It is expected that the authors of the light novel series will need to publish two more volumes so as to get enough script material for its season 2.
