Jujutsu Kaisen, the latest MAPPA anime, was a hit from the beginning of Season 1, attracting new viewers with its impressive graphics, compelling storyline, and humorous storylines. Fans’ hearts were captured by his powerful mentor Satoru Gojo, not the character Yuji Itadori. Gojo is a spectacular Jujutsu sorcerer who taught at Tokyo Metropolitan Spell Technical College and one of the world’s strongest sorcerers.
But it’s not just Gojo’s technical potential to exorcise spells that has made him a fan favourite. It’s the combination of his charm, jujutsu skills, and pleasant warmth that allows him to dominate every scene he’s in, even when surrounded by other awesome protagonists.
Gojo Jujutsu Kaisen’s Newest Star
Satoru Gojo is very aggressive when we first see him, telling Yuji in the first sequence of Jujutsu Kaisen that he will be shot. Nonetheless, Gojo becomes more personable and even likeable after that. It doesn’t help that he usually wears a blindfold over his eyes, giving him a mysterious appearance that never really disappears.
Only when the strap is removed can we see his bright blue eyes and realise he’s about to win a fight. Outside of the battle scenes, however, Gojo appears to be a completely different individual.
Gojo has a unique duality that no other protagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen has. With co-workers, learners, and family, he is polite, sarcastic, and pleasant, but when faced with threats, competitors, or Principal Gakuganji, his darker side appears. Gojo develops arrogance, honesty, and the courage to share his inner emotions.

While it may not be necessarily a bad thing, his pride can sometimes get the advantage of him. He is conscious that he is incredibly powerful, arguably more compelling than everyone else around him, but this can affect his judgement of others. Gojo dismisses those around him who is weak and lack ability. So, what’s the issue with him constantly ordering the computer?
As a result of this duality, he can be quite believable at times. When Gojo is with his colleagues, his rude attitude disappears and he becomes pleasant and aloof.
Gojo is asked what kind of girl he wants near the conclusion of The story 1, Episode 15. Instead of having a name, he wanders around and says it’s “the pretty gal with noticeable bangs.”
He doesn’t know what the girl’s name is, so he seeks to think of a way to describe her. It also shows that his drawing style changes when he’s presented in a bizarre way.
Gojo is usually depicted as completely angular in order to appear dominating or domineering, but in comedic sequences, he is depicted with more lines and other common anime humour style stereotypes, such as narrowing and becoming chibi.
Gojo steals the spotlight time once again, whether he’s banishing a fairly close spell or just hanging out with his learners. His role formation and motion style are frequently mesmerising. Furthermore, his genuine concern for his pupils and the group’s well-being puts him in a positive light, but even though he behaves hypocritically, it’s convenient to accept him.
