The Last Season ended with the team going inside the bank. At the end of Season 4, Lisbon had entered the bank, but the professor has been caught by Inspector Alicia Sierra, leaving everyone no passage to escape. The last season has left many loose threads dangling, which could be completed in the new season.

Money Heist Season 5: Possible Release Date

According to Netflix, Money Heist Season 5 (La Casa De Papel) is expected to release by the end of the summer, 2021. Due to the current situation, the production work was called off. We can expect the next season by the end of 2021. Netflix had put all the shows on standby last month, but the cast and crew have started their schedules. 

Money Heist Season 5 is marked as ‘end of the heists season’. It is the concluding season, which will be shot in Denmark, Spain, and Portugal. Season 5 also will be a 10-episodes series, like the previous seasons. The direction could start just after the production plan comes into action in August this year.
