Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 Finale: When is Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 Finale Expected to Release?

Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 Updates: Grey’s Anatomy has come to an end with Season 17 being the finale season. But when is it expected to air?

Grey’s Anatomy has been a unique and different series with some of the characters who are going to play a cameo in Meredith Grey’s dream. But every good thing comes to an end with no more dream sequences to be displayed.

The characters that have made a comeback in the series are Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey), Mark Sloan (Eric Dane), George O’Malley (T.R. Knight), Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh), and others.

Meredith Grey has been affected by the Covid-19 virus and is currently gone to Covid-coma. She has been out for a long due to her treatment but her dream sequences are alive.

In one of the dream sequences in the latest episode, Good As Hell, Grey was about to marry her husband at a beach wedding but later she realized that she has to get back home.

Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 Finale Expected Release Date

Grey’s Anatomy has been a series with around 24 episodes in each of the seasons. But from Season 16 the episodes were cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic. Season 17 will be the second shortest of all the other previous seasons which is just 16 episodes.

13 episodes have already been released and three more episodes are left to be aired. The next episode is going to release on May 6, on ABC, leaving two more episodes before the finale season comes to end.

Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 Episode 13, Look Up Child,  will witness Jackson Avery(Jesse Williams) has visited his dad. The episode will also see the return of a familiar face in Jackson’s ex-wife, April Kepner(Sarah Drew) who was there in the show for nine seasons.

The show has no more plans to pause unless something serious happens, so fans could expect Grey’s Anatomy season 17 finale on May 20 after the penultimate episode that is supposed to release on May 13.

ABC has released a trailer before airing the next episodes that have made the fans go crazy.

On Twitter, one fan tweeted, “ This is going to be the longest two weeks before the season finale is aired”. Several fans were frustrated with the decision of releasing a teasing trailer that showcased Jackson and April’s nice happy moments, before announcing the delay of the next episodes.
