It’s Too Early For A Big Bang Theory Comeback, Says Star

Published by

Expect no Big Bang Theory comeback quite yet, as performer Mayim Bialik claims it is far very early. The series was canceled in 2018. Even before the start of season 12’s recording, the cast discovered that Jim Parsons, who portrayed Sheldon, opted off. Although the majority of the cast was still eager to come back for another year they opted to end the season.

All were taken aback when it was announced that Perhaps the Big Bang Theory was drawing to a close. Not long before all this, it was announced that CBS was considering getting at least another season due to the show’s continued success and ability to sustain strong ratings over time.

A Big Bang Theory Comeback

Amidst the unexpectedly uplifting finale, some people remain hopeful that the Pasadena gang’s storyline will be continued in some form. Regrettably, though this proposal hasn’t been completely dismissed, the odds of it being a reality in the immediate future are very remote.

When asked about the likelihood of The Big Bang Theory’s comeback, Bialik was rational, stating that it’s already too premature. She also says she hasn’t learned much about it, but she’s delighted to keep on collaborating with Parsons, who produces her latest comedy, Call Me Kat. Bialik seems to have a point; it has only been nearly two years since The Big Bang Theory concluded, and a reunion might sound hurried.

Besides that, it is completely needless at this stage. Any of the guest stars are only now re-establishing their fortunes after a 12-year run on the series.

The Impact

Although they will still be associated with the roles they portrayed on the show, particularly because it has retained its success due to syndication and broadcasting availability, the vast majority of them probably want to escape The Big Bang Theory’s impact.

That is terrifying and difficult to do, as Kaley Cuoco, who has effectively transformed into starring and promoting the hit HBO Max series, The Flight Attendant, has acknowledged.

The Big Bang Theory did have a relatively satisfactory conclusion, although there were a few legitimate critiques of how the show’s plot was presented in the final few seasons of its run. It had been so preoccupied with moving Sheldon and Amy’s relationship forward that it had left the remainder of the protagonists’ storylines stagnant.

It didn’t feel like a team performance like it did in the first few seasons. If there is a potential revival, it will be nice to hear that other participants of the Pasadena band have gotten on with their life, considering what happened off-screen.
