Yes, indeed! In December 2020, the official His Dark Materials Twitter account announced that Lyra, Pan, and Will return for another round.

When will His Dark Materials Season 3 come out?
Nobody has said what the production plan for the next season would be, but given that it’s adapting the most bizarre book in the trilogy, it’s possible that the BBC will want and wait to avoid filming a show during a pandemic.
According to The Guardian, screenwriter Jack Thorne is “actively rewriting it,” and “we’re moving on with the scripts because we need to be able to shoot next summer,” so we’re unlikely to see any of the show this year.
What will it be about?
The third season of the show will be based on The Amber Spyglass, the third book in Pullman’s series, which not only introduces a slew of new characters, monsters, and major locations, but also puts Lyra, Will, and Mary Malone to the ultimate metaphysical test.
Season 2 ended with Will, the Subtle Knife’s bearer, literally picking up his shaman father’s mantle and slipping out of Cittagazze’s crossroads world to an unknown location (where, if you read the novel, he’ll soon encounter a pair of angels who will aid him on his quest).
Lyra and Pan are safe for the time being in Mrs Coulter’s clutches, but Lyra has odd dreams about Roger, the boy Asriel killed to open his rip in the universe, who is now lost in some dark land.
Meanwhile, Mary has travelled to a new planet, where she will soon encounter the elephantine mulefa (possibly the show’s most complicated special effects), and Lord Asriel has won the angels’ support in his cosmic war against the Authority.

Lyra (Dafne Keen), Will (Amir Wilson), Mrs Coulter (Ruth Wilson), Dr Mary Malone (Simone Kirby), Serafina Pekkala (Ruta Gedmintas), Ruta Skadi (Jade Anouka), and Lord Asriel will all appear, according to the BBC (James McAvoy).
“She goes on a great journey in season three,” Wilson said (via Radio Times). “I can’t wait to get back into Mrs Coulter’s boots.”
