Overlord Season 4: Will The Anime Return In 2021?

Overlord Season 4 Updates: Overlord, after all the drama inside and outside it’s plot line can finally be seen making a return for season 4 this year.

Overlord is a Japanese novel series written by Kugane Maruyama which was series listed in 2010 before being acquired by Enterbrain. Until now 14 volumes do the same series have been published now as the author has told that there would be in total 17 volumes of the entire series.

The manga began its serialization in Kadokawa Shoten’s manga magazine Comp Ace in November 2014. The storyline is set in the year 2126. There exists a Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG), which is called YGGDRASIL  Being set in the future it has its own unique features and in this one the players can interact with the game in a more intimate way.

Now the game had been up and running for about 12 years and now it was about to be shut down. It consisted a total of 41 members out of which 37 had left the game and only four remained.

All About Overlord Season 4

A skeletal “Overlord” character named Momonga, continues to play as the guild leader, maintaining their headquarters in The Great Tomb of Nazarick and right before the shutdown invites the three other players to meet but only one arrives and he decides to stay until all arrive or the game shuts down, ending up facing some revelations like the game is not being shut down and he has been trapped in the interface of the game; and from there the series continues unravelling and trapping the characters further so.

Until it’s season 3, the series has covered almost half of its novel hereby confirming that there will be more; also the end of season 3 was in a cliffhanger and season 4 had to comeback and resolve that. Going chronologically and tapping the pattern of the series one could predict that the season 4 would cover volume 10,11 and 12 volume of the series.

There is no confirmed date as of yet, due to current pandemic situations, about the release but a release is on its way for sure.

Since the show has been half air for over an year now we might get to see some teaser about the upcoming show hopefully.
