Legend Of Korra Updates: Legend Of korra is the second joining in the Avatar animated series franchise. The first was the Avatar: The last air bender. This series focused on the life of avatar aang. As he travels around on the world on his flying bison with his friends to learn about bending and unlocking the secret behind true peace and balance.
After 70 years of the end of the reign of the fire lord ozai, legend of korra focuses on the life of korra who is a female avatar. The avatar is the chosen person believed to bring peace and balance to the world.
The avatar can master all forms of bending. They are namely earth bending, fire bending, water bending and air bending. However in legend of korra we encounter several new types of bending also for instance metal bending and blood bending.
The story of avatar aang is one of tragic origin. After fire lord sozin came to know that the avatar is an air nomad. he sent his army at the air temple to kill all of the air nomads.
However avatar aang escaped his demise but was trapped in an ice berg for over a century. It was not before katara accidentally freed the avatar from his icy prison and thus began their adventure.
Despite korra being an avatar she is still a teenager. She faces normal teenager problems. At first she meets Mako who is a pro bender. Their relationship started as friends but after korra confessed that she loved mako. he turned her down. Sweet friendship that soon turns into love and later a heart breaking conclusion.
At the end of legend of korra we see that korra sets out on a vacation in the spirit realm with her friend Asami Sato. Asami is the daughter of the hiroshi sato. She is the owner of Sato Auto mobiles and who is also one of the richest people of republic city. After hitting mako in the streets of the republic city she gradually became friends with avatar korra. She even helped the avatar to take down many bad guys.
Though no real love scene is shown on the show between korra and asami. The creators revealed that korra and asami are indeed two bisexual and are in love with each other. Though in the graphic novel of Legend of korra, there is a seen of korra and asami kissing.
Their romantic bond was also cherished by “Kya” who is the daughter of Avatar Aang and katara. Kya also mentioned that she herself is a bisexual.
