Line of Duty Season 6 Updates: In its trailer for the season six finale, Line of Duty has teased fans about what lies ahead. The crime drama which draws to a close on Sunday, May 2 on BBC One, will finally reveal whether the Fourth Man (or Woman) would be caught or not.

The promo reads “every investigation has led to this”, teasing about finding out the identity of H. It seems that AC-12’s hard work could finally pay off as Ted Hastings and co might be closing in on a suspect.

With only one episode left to go, AC-12 would need to work quick to uncover the truth behind Gail Vella’s murder.

Will the previous episodes’ build up on how the killer could be leading several corrupt officers having ties to an organized criminal group, it would be interesting to see how things play out.

Line of Duty Season 6 Spoilers

Unfortunately for fans, we won’t be seeing any more of Ryan Pilkington (played by Gregory Pier) who was shot dead during an armed face off with Kate Fleming in the last episode.

Reflecting on his role in the series, Piper tweeted saying: “Let’s face it… he had it coming!”

He also added that it had been a privilege working on the show as every other episode had been as fascinating to him as his first one. He also went ahead and thanked the crew saying that they had been “the nicest and most welcoming group of people I have ever met.”

He also expressed his gratitude Jed Mercurio for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing project of which dreams are made of. He applauded his co actors as well for their outstanding performances.

Line of Duty season six finale airs on Sunday, May 2 at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
