My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 4 Recap & Spoilers

Published by

My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 4 Updates: My Hero Academia’s fourth episode in Season 5 features Shinso’s newly created Quirk in motion against Class 1-B as the first squad battle begins. It’s a tense fight with several cliffhangers, but Class 1-A emerges victorious thanks to their coordination and fast thinking.

Even after his apparent lack of expertise, Shinso puts on a show and effectively employs both of his new weapons. Although the episode focuses on Shinso’s growth, Class 1-B’s powerful beginning to the match reflects their significant progress as well, with Jurota Shishida posing the most serious threat to Class 1-A’s chances of winning.

Shinso gives his Class 1-A squad a refresher on his Quirk and explains his Persona Chords in a retrospective. To use his Brainwash Quirk, Shinso must first feel to himself, “I’m about to brainwash this individual,” then pose them a question aloud, and if they respond, they will be deceived.

He can’t use a megaphone or amplifier, and he can’t expect them to do something that takes more than a few seconds of contemplation. An individual may also be brought out of their brainwashed state by a panic reaction.

After that, the episode takes up where Episode 3 left off, with Shinso successfully brainwashing the dominant Shishida using his Persona Chords. Shinso’s dreams, though, are easily dashed when Tsuburaba knocks Shishida on the head, waking up the mighty beast hero from his trance.

Shinso tries to use his Eraserhead-style binding shoes and clothes, but Tsuburaba, like Koda, easily locks him in a container of air. Shinso’s Quirk is strong, but he has trouble keeping up with the battle’s speed.

Shishida focuses on Kaminari and attempts to apprehend him. Shishida tosses his Class 1-A opponent like a rag doll after Kaminari cheerfully electrocutes him. However, the stubborn Beast Quirk can withstand much of the shock, and Shishida tosses his Class 1-A opponent like a rag doll. Kirishima, thankfully, joins the arena.

Kirishima easily liberates Koda from the exhaust manifolds he’s stuck in, but Shishida catches and throws him before he could do the same for Shinso. As he sinks backward, he collides with Shiozaki’s vines, becoming the first individual to be caught and eliminated from the competition.
