Solo Leveling Drama: Everything We Know So Far and Much More

Published by

Solo Leveling  Updates: News reports are emerging that Solo Levelling will be getting a game, drama, and film adaptation. Here is everything we know about the upcoming and much-awaited television series.

One of the biggest hits of Korean webtoons, ‘Solo leveling’ is expected to be produced as a drama in the United States. It will pave the way for a wider Korean content outreach to a global audience.

It has a record of reading up to 1.5 million people a day. It is popular in Japan, North America, China, and Southeast Asia beyond Korea and plays a leading role in K-webtoon. It has now even started gaining popularity in India.

On April 13th, Maeil Business News Korea released a press statement concerning the upcoming Solo Leveling projects that are being discussed. The show will be produced by an American studio, sources have been tipping that Warner Brothers might be interested in the project.

In addition, Solo Leveling will also see a game developed by Netmarble.  People had been petitioning for an anime based on Solo Leveling and that hasn’t come to fruition either, but the other adaptations are more likely.

All About Solo Leveling

A release date has not been revealed and production on the series itself has not been confirmed. If we get to see a Solo Leveling television series within this calendar year, viewers can expect to be waiting until 2022 for the drama to premiere.

It also depends on the distribution network which will be used; with confirmation that it would air through a world-class online video service (OTT). The likely frontrunner with distribution is Netflix.

At the time of writing, no information on either the potential plot or cast of the drama series has been revealed. Since the series’ original storyline is incredible, it is highly likely that the production company would want to stick with it.

The casting depends on where the series will take place. We can expect North American actors to be involved in the series if it is produced in the US.

The fans have been expressing their happiness on Twitter after hearing this news. We are all waiting for some more updates.
