The Conjuring 3: The Franchise’s Biggest and the Darkest Movie

Published by

The Conjuring 3 Updates: The episodes that occurs in the conjuring 3, makes it the franchise’s biggest and the darkest installment. This is for the first time that Director James Wan, the one who directed the preceding installments had stepped away from the position allowing Chaves to direct the latest installment.

Staring off with the first ever film of the conjuring franchise, Wan introduced the audience to Ed and Lorraine Warren, a real life couple who were known for solving paranormal situations. The first installment, conjuring, dealt with the haunting of the Rhode Island house that has made its owners horrorstrucked in 1971.

The film initially looked as it was a bit better than the other horror movies of that time, but it suddenly took a toll on the audiences, making it the highest grossing horror movies of all time.

This response was quite shocking for many and three years down the line came another blockbuster, the sequel to the conjuring, this time set in London. The Conjuring 2, showed even bigger challenges for the Warrens as compared with that of the first installment. As mentioned before, this sequel surpassed its predecessor’s box-office’s numbers.

Now, after the long wait for the conjuring stands, there comes the release of its third installment, The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It.

The film will get released on HBO Max and in theatres on June 4, and this time, the audiences can expect something way more bigger and darker than its previous installments.  In an interview with IGN, Chaves revealed that this particular film will take the Warrens away from the well worn concept of haunted dwellings.

One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.

By looking at the plot we can make it out that the fans of the Wan and his particular style might be a bit nervous, as well as for the fact that now someone else has directed the Warrens and the events of his movie. But there are no reasons to think that Chaves isn’t capable of pulling off the franchise’s darkest installment.
