Rurouni Kenshin Updates: In 2021, we will see another live-action adaptation of the manga, the release of “Rurouni Kenshin: The Final”, which is the fourth part of the series after “Rurouni Kenshin: The End of the Legend”.

It is based on Watsuki Nobuhiro’s latest manga Rurouni Kenshin. This movie is directed by Keishi Ōtomo.

Real-life movies based on comics are not very popular worldwide. The main reason is language barriers. However, fans who enthusiastically follow the comics world praised the adaptation. These movies are as interesting as the DC and Marvel comics adapted from Hollywood.

Rurouni Kenshin series is a comic of the same name adapted from Japan. In the action-adventure category, the series consists of five publications. Rurouni Kenshin Originated in the premiere on August 25, 2012. Japan has raised more than 36 million U.S. dollars and the world has raised more than 60 million U.S. dollars.

This film has aroused great repercussions all over the world. More than 60 countries/regions have licensed sales in Asia, Europe and Latin America.

The next two sequels are Kyoto Inferno and The Legend Ends.  Both were released in the summer of 2014. The copyright of the movie was announced in 2016.

Funimation Films acquired the rights to the first film and its sequel. As a result, these films were released in North America in August 2016 and dubbed in English.

These films have been released at various film festivals such as the Busan International Film Festival and the Sitges Film Festival.

Story Preview

The Rurouni Kenshin series is the legendary assassin Battousai, who disappeared after winning the Battle of Toba-Fushimi. Bleed and choose to become a wandering swordsman.

He was called Himura Kenshin, and he was dedicated to saving the Japanese people without killing anyone. History is the concept of love, peace and salvation.After he committed all the murders, he vowed to help those in need.

Later he met Kaoru. She attacked him, thinking that he was a notorious assassin, but he revealed that he only wore an “inverted sword”, not one of Battousai. Kenshin then fought the assassin that Kenshin had arrived and rescued her, giving the assassin a chance to recognise him as the real Battousai.

When Kenshin realised all his horror and vowed not to kill anyone, the story took a crucial turn.The murderer kidnapped Kenshin . Kenshin then fights the first one and saves his lover without breaking his oath. When Kenshin let the murderer die, he tried to commit suicide.
