WandaVision Season 2 Fan Theories, Rumors and Much More

WandaVision Season 2 Updates: The fate of the beekeeper SWORD agent who infiltrated Westview in WandaVision episode 3 is unknown – was Scarlet Witch able to kill him, or did he become another Westview resident?

The fourth episode of Marvel Studios’ first Disney+ series revealed a lot of new information and explained the overall plot. The narrative view changed from Wanda and Vision’s bubble to the outside world, demonstrating how this pocket reality is perceived from the outside.

WandaVision episode 4, “We Interrupt This Program,” was originally told from the viewpoint of Monica Rambeau, who returned five years after being turned to dust by Thanos’ snap. It explained how Monica was able to infiltrate Scarlet Witch’s fantasy world.

SWORD had sent her to assist FBI agent Jimmy Woo in his search for a missing witness who had been allegedly set up in Westview. Anyone who was previously aware of Westview or its inhabitants had their memories erased after Wanda probably took control of the town.

Monica was inadvertently sucked inside the energy field that borders the town while testing it out and became “Geraldine” in the pocket reality.

The beekeeper’s origins and true identity were also revealed in WandaVision episode 4. He’s an agent of the group sent in after Monica’s disappearance, as the SWORD logo on the back of his suit suggests.

Scarlet Witch manipulated time and changed the course of events to keep Wanda and Vision’s attention from being diverted after his arrival in episode 2 distracted them from the news that they were pregnant.

The beekeeper, on the other hand, hasn’t been seen on the show since then, and with Monica forcibly kicked out after Wanda discovered she’s an infiltrator, the major mystery remains as to what happened to the beekeeper.

Given Wanda’s response when she realized Geraldine was from another planet, it’s not unreasonable to believe she did something even worse to the beekeeper. Scarlet Witch is clearly willing to go to great lengths to keep the fantasy she’s created in Westview, based on Elizabeth Olsen’s recent remarks and what’s been discovered in WandaVision so far. Because she has the power to warp reality, this makes her even more dangerous.

Monica’s ability to penetrate her pocket reality may have spooked her, inspiring her to seek out the other invader and make sure he doesn’t endanger her fantastical world, even though Wanda didn’t hurt the beekeeper at first.

It’s worth noting, though, that those who enter Westview seem to forget their memories of the outside world, as Monica’s experience suggests. They do, nonetheless, appear to retain some details, as evidenced by Herb’s awareness that something is fundamentally wrong in the town.

At this time, it is unclear if WandaVision will show the beekeeper again, although trailers for the series have shown that it will feature more of Westview in the future. It’s possible that, like Monica, he merely adopted a different persona to fit Scarlet Witch’s fictitious reality.
