Snowpiercer Season 2 Episode 9 Layton To Share Melanie’s Fate Considering Wilford’s Victory

Snowpiercer Season 2 Episode 9 Updates: As known, Mr. Wilford’s claimed his victory as he took back Snowpiercer which could be a sign of him making sure that Andre Layton meets a similar destiny as his previous nemesis – Melanie Cavill.

At the end of the Snowpiercer episode 6, “Many Miles From Snowpiercer,” Melanie was scheduled to contact Snowpiercer but was left trapped in the bitter cold by the tracks. Layton is likely to also face dismissal from the train and death in the Freeze.

The wealthy Messiah was taken aback to discover that Melanie had abandoned the train to Andre Layton the moment Joseph Wilford’s train consisting of 40 cars, namely Big Alice, was docked by Snowpiercer permanently.

The Messiah was mainly astonished by the fact that Wilford wasn’t aware of who Layton was and didn’t pay heed to what a “Tailie” was either.  Wilford, on the other hand, was rapid enough to evaluate the danger Melanie and Layton posed to his intentions to reclaim control of Snowpiercer.

Wilford took the chance to rile Melanie into a perilous (and suicidal) solo mission to get the Breslauer Research Station online to validate her hypothesis when Melanie declared that the globe could be spontaneously warming and “the future is outside!”

Melanie, Wilford’s adversary who also knew him and the train at the finest, was no longer a threat, thanks to this brilliant divide and conquer strategy. Only “King Layton,” as Wilford mockingly referred to him, remained for Wilford to deal with.

It made a huge impression on Layton by the ending of “The Eternal Engineer” how deftly Wilford had used his hand and seized possession of the train from behind him.

The fact that they did not have Melanie as an advisor or to counter Wilford’s plots, and people like Miss Audrey (Lena Hall) turned around and sided with Wilford and the discontent in Snowpiercer, that Wilford was simply present, stirred flames which was the result of weeks of affairs that went out of Layton’s control.

Andre Layton’s brief instruction of Snowpiercer bears witness to the old saying that “things always get worse before they can get better.” Now that Andre has been arrested and sent to Big Alice, the concern is whether Layton will be capable of surviving what Wilford has intended for him next.

Andre’s future seems grim, with Layton stripped of his authority and divided from his major allies like Sam Roche (Mike O’Malley), who Wilford sent to the Drawers. And this is why as Melanie did 7 years ago, Wilford’s best move would be to abandon Layton on the side of the county.
