Mortal Kombat 2021 Funko Pops Include Scorpion, Sub-Zero & Sonya Blade

Mortal Kombat 2021 Updates: For the forthcoming live-action relaunch, a new line of Mortal Kombat Funko Pops has indeed been released.

For the very first occasion since 1997’s, panned by critics, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, fan-favorite figures like Scorpion (Hiroyuki Sanada), Sub-Zero (Joe Taslim), Liu Kang (Ludi Lin), Raiden (Tadanobu Asano), Sonya Blade (Jessica McNamee), and Jax (Mehcad Brooks) will return to the lead role. On April 16, the revamped Mortal Kombat will be released in theatres as well as on HBO Max.

Mortal Kombat is primarily a video game chain, however over the last 30 years, it has generated a slew of related media and accessories. Mortal Kombat has established a reputation for itself within many facets of contemporary culture, from films and television shows to toys and the classic techno track from the 1995 cinema.

The Mortal Kombat brand is almost certain to see a great revival as the sitcom returns with some real initiative with director Simon McQuoid’s forthcoming restart.

However, according to ComicBook, Funko is rolling out a new line of Mortal Kombat Pop characters to coincide with the upcoming movie. Sonya Blade (with her purple arm lasers), Scorpion (masked or unmasked), Sub Zero (ice sword at the ready), and Cole Young are among those on the list (the battle outfit has recently been revealed).

Apparently, many individuals from the movie’s huge cast have been overlooked, but if Mortal Kombat performs well enough at the box office, collectors may be able to hope for more.

The live-action Mortal Kombat cast is largely drawn from the initial two arcade games, although Kabal from Mortal Kombat 3 will however feature as an Outworld warrior.

Johnny Cage, a fan favorite action Hollywood actor, is currently absent from the cast, while producer Todd Garner has presented a strong reason for why Cage was not considered. If Mortal Kombat 2 happens, Garner has stated that he wishes to put Cage back aboard.

A great new member for the Mortal Kombat prequel, Cole Young (Lewis Tan) has brought with him a series of mysteries that fans can be puzzled about.

Cole’s secret identity has been a source of contention, with some speculating that he is related to either Scorpion or Sub-Zero via genetics. He’ll undoubtedly have deeper ties to the franchise mythology than have yet been disclosed as the leading character of the latest movie.
