Resident Evil Village PC System Requirements Revealed On Steam

Published by

Resident Evil Village Updates: Resident Evil Village PC specs have been officially posted on the game’s Steam page. This new information was made available on the same day as Resident Evil’s 25th anniversary, which hit the show on Twitter.

Many fans have tried to guess what hardware they will need to run the entire game since the footage was first released. While Resident Evil 7 already featured near-photorealistic graphics, Village promises to look even better and perform better.

This was already a fact as the game is one of the most anticipated releases for the current generation consoles, but not that much is known about its optimization, the PC experience will be.

The Resident Evil series has historically been quite lenient with the technical specifications of their games. Resident Evil 7, for example, only required at least an i5-4460 processor and a GeForce GTX 760 with 2 GB of VRAM.

At 60 frames per second at 1080p, gamers were recommended to have an i7-3770 and a GeForce GTX 1060 with 3GB of VRAM. Given how Amazing 7 still looks and works today, Capcom’s Resident Evil team has certainly shown that they know what they’re doing, with regards to optimizing the PC enjoy as a great deal as possible.

The encouraged specifications are an i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 in conjunction with a GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 5700.

However, it should be noted that the minimum requirements, in this case, are to run the game at 1080p / 60fps while the requirements are in place The minimum for Resident Evil 7 is to run the game at 1080p / 30fps. As a side note, the game also requires DirectX version 12; Resident Evil 7 requires version 11.

Of course, players will need more serious hardware to get the most out of the Village. In this manner that a GeForce RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 6700 XT is needed to help with ray tracing. Using the minimum or even recommended settings can potentially cause dropouts in graphics-intensive scenes.
