Law and Order SVU Season 22 Updates: Law and Order debuted in 1990 and has since inspired a range of spin-offs, the most famous of which is Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.

Mariska Hargitay has been a member of the Law & Order: SVU actors since 1999, and she will reunite with her former co-star Christopher Meloni in the epic two-hour crossover of the upcoming spin-off series Organized Crime. The audience was more excited to watch this series.

When can the Law and Order SVU Season 22 Release date:

This season, Law and Order enthusiasts are in for a surprise. Meloni will not only reprise his appearance as Elliot Stabler in the upcoming Law and Order: Organized Crime spin-off season, but there will also be a two-hour crossover event with SVU.

Elliot, portrayed by Meloni, will be reunited with Olivia, played by Hargitay, in the crossover. Between 1999 and 2011, the two worked together on SVU for the first 12 seasons, before Meloni’s character Elliot suddenly withdrew from the force off-camera in the Season 13 premiere.

The much-awaited crossover will air on NBC on Thursday, April 1st. On NBC, Law, and Order: SVU will air from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., followed by the debut of Law and Order: Organized Crime. Law and Order: SVU and Organized Crime will continue to air on NBC on Thursdays as well. The network will broadcast Law and Order: SVU at 9 p.m., followed by Organized Crime at 10 p.m.

It will stream both episodes live on NBC and see the crossover event. NBC also offers online streaming of the episodes. If you skip the convergence or other episode of Law and Order: SVU or Organized Crime, don’t worry; every episode will be available to stream after it airs on television on NBC.com.

In the United Kingdom, Law and Order: Organized Crime will most likely air on Sky Witness, which also airs the other Law and Order shows.

At this time, little is known about the crossover event’s storyline. Elliot was last seen in the season 13 opener, where it was revealed that he had resigned from the police department. Olivia has since progressed through the ranks of the NYPD police department, rising to the rank of Captain.

Christopher Meloni’s Stabler will reunite with Mariska Hargitay’s now-Captain Benson in the crossover. The Law and Order: Organized Crime synopsis teases that the spin-off will accompany Stabler’s return to the NYPD. The audience was waiting to watch this series. For more updates stay tuned.
