Call of Duty: Warzone Updates: Call of Duty: Warzone community members have begun receiving teasers that provide a brand-new and long-rumored zombies event is imminent.
It would seem gossips of an apocalyptic Call of Duty: Warzone events are real. The long-teased new zombie event for Warzone seems to be confirmed by Activision themselves.
Community members have received hospital scrubs with a note suggesting something very horrifying is going to come soon, which seems to be a clear allusion to the previous rumors.
Warzone has been a huge success for Activision over the last year. Not only it did give a great post-launch boost to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, but it hit at the perfect time.
The free-to-play battle royale game right as the Coronavirus pandemic forced everyone inside, meaning people need something to do. Now, one year later, the loved Warzone map will reportedly be nuked and deleted forever.
According to spoilers, it won’t be available through special events, playlist, or anything else once the day of reckoning reaches, which seems to be very soon.

It’s expected the Warzone nuke event will come as a big finale for a zombies event, likely to keep the undead from spreading. The seeds for such an event have been being already planted for a while now following a strange shipwreck, missile silos, & more popping up on the map. Given that Activision is an official beginning in some sort of marketing strategy, it’s likely that it won’t be long before the dead began to rise up in Verdansk.
After this event, it’s not completely clean and clear what will happen. Few gossips suggest a shift to a Cold War-era map, but there is really not a lot of info at the moment. It’s also expected that Call of Duty 2021 will be unleashed within Warzone later this year, though Activision by keeping things quiet on any details surrounding that title.
Reports conclude that Sledgehammer will come back for Call of Duty 2021 & take players to a WWII or Korean War setting, which would provide a unique take on Call of Duty: Warzone gave it has been a modern-day tactical shooter in its present form.
